First Love, Lost Love
In days gone by, on a sultry night, a very long time ago
So full and so bright, was the moon
Oh what a reflection, in your eyes
Your lips touched mine, so soft and sweet
And the word I could not say, was no
You took my hand, you held my heart
I knew, what would happen soon
You pulled me close, you held me so tight
Somehow, it all felt so right
The stars shinning bright, so high in the sky
A warm subtle breeze, stirring the trees
Sounds of the night, could be heard all around
As if singing, a young lovers tune
Being held so close to your heart, exposed was I to you
Emotions running strong, out of control
I knew, that it would not be long
With minds racing wild, not thinking ahead
Too many words, were left unsaid
Wild carefree nights and lazy days
Blinded by love, living in a haze

Those were the days, long gone and now past
Just long ago memories, forever will last
Two young lovers, engulfed in the night
Unbeknownst to them, each would take flight
In their carefree ways, on sunny days, it all just slipped away
Young love will come and it will go, until you get it right
My very first love; you are still here
I can almost reach out, and touch your face
Tattooed in my mind, forever there
In your very own, special place
